Right-wing radio executive director emeritus of Gun Owners America and radio host of “Gun Owners News Hour” Larry Pratt called for shooting all liberals. He said that if Hillary Clinton takes the White House in November, she will put a minimum of one liberal judge on the Supreme Court. At that point, conservatives should go to the “bullet box.”

He was interviewing senior fellow of the right-wing American Civil Rights Union, Robert Knight, who said:

‘If a liberal Democrat is elected president, then there goes the Supreme Court, it could be two, three, four justices, and I think the Second Amendment would be in great peril if that happens.’

Pratt thinks gun violence is the only way to restore “constitutional balance”:

‘And at that point, we would have to come to an understanding, which we’ve been sort of taught, it’s been taught out of us, that the courts do not have the last word on what the Constitution is.’

‘They decide particular cases, they don’t make law. Their decisions, unlike the Roe v. Wade usurpation, don’t extend to the whole of society, they’re not supposed to. And we may have to reassert that proper constitutional balance, and it may not be pretty. So, I’d much rather have an election where we solve this matter at the ballot box than have to resort to the bullet box.’

Conservatives are eager to resort to violence to protect their gun rights, but the Supreme Court does not make the law. It only interprets the law. For example, the Supreme Court has interpreted anti-abortion laws incompatible with the Constitution, because they violate a woman’s 14th Amendment right to due process and equal protection.

Chief Justice John Marshall wrote in 1803:

‘It is, emphatically, the province and duty of the judicial department, to say what the law is.’

The Gun Owners website writes:

‘To date, over 257,000 military veterans have lost their gun rights because of the precedent that began under the Clinton administration.’

‘Hillary’s support for a proposal to strip gun rights from anyone she chose to place on a “secret list” (with no standards or due process) could potentially allow Clinton to place “dangerous gun owners” like you and me on a secret gun-ban list.’

‘Hillary’s support for a universal gun registry would funnel virtually every gun owner into a NICS system that has an almost 95% “false positive” rate for initial denials, and an inability to appeal a false positive because the Obama administration has illegally shut down the appeals process for those erroneous denials.’

The site also writes that if Clinton wins, her left-leaning Supreme Court judge will “bring frivolous lawsuits against gun manufacturers and dealers as a transparent attempt to sue gun ownership out of business.”

The Constitution in Article III Section 2 explains the role of the Supreme Court:

‘The judicial power shall extend to all cases, in law and equity, arising under this Constitution, the laws of the United States, and treaties made, or which shall be made, under their authority;–to all cases affecting ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls;–to all cases of admiralty and maritime jurisdiction;–to controversies to which the United States shall be a party;–to controversies between two or more states;–between a state and citizens of another state;–between citizens of different states;–between citizens of the same state claiming lands under grants of different states, and between a state, or the citizens thereof, and foreign states, citizens or subjects.’

‘In all cases affecting ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, and those in which a state shall be party, the Supreme Court shall have original jurisdiction.’

Rather than the bullet box, maybe conservatives will decide to choose their ballot box.
