HE’S BACK! Jon Stewart And Stephen Colbert Tear Trump To SHREDS, Call Him An ‘Angry Creamsicle’

After Donald Trump officially became the 2016 GOP presidential nominee, many Americans were left feeling angry and confused over the state of American politics. Many also wondered exactly how Trump had enough momentum to get so far.

On Monday evening’s edition of “The Late Show,” host Stephen Colbert set out to find an explanation for the baffling phenomenon that is Donald Trump. But, Colbert admitted that understanding The Donald is a job that’s simply too much, even for him. So he set out to a secluded cabin in the woods to call on an old friend, former “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart, and asked him to help figure out just how America got to this point.

Playing dumb, Stewart pretended he didn’t know that Trump had become the GOP nominee, questioning how it had even happened in the first place:

‘The guy from “The Apprentice?” The guy who did a McDonald’s commercial with Grimace? The guy who filed for bankruptcy in 1991?’

Colbert added slyly:

‘And 1992.’

‘And 2004,’ Stewart continued.

‘And 2009,’ Colbert added.

Stewart went on to ask:

‘Mike Tyson’s business advisor? That guy? The guy whose eyes look like tiny versions of his mouth.’

And then, with one of the best Trump insults to date, Colbert clarified:

‘Yes, the guy who looks like an angry creamsicle.’

Stewart added:

‘Decomposing jack-o-lantern.’

Colbert countered Stewart, saying:

‘Human toupee hybrid.’

Stewart went on to question:

‘A guy who looks like he’s actually wearing a Donald Trump costume?’

Colbert chimed in:

‘A loose-fitting one at that!’

Quoting Trump, Stewart said:

‘The guy who wrote, and I quote, “Oftentimes, when I was sleeping with one of the top women in the world, I would say to myself, ‘can you believe what I am getting.’ That guy?!'”

Colbert continued, citing yet another Trump quote:

‘Yes! The same guy who said, and I quote, “I have black guys counting my money. I hate it. The only guys I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes all day.”‘

Emphasizing the urgency of the matter, Colbert said to Stewart:

‘So you can see why I’m here!’
