COLUMBIA, SC - JULY 18: Police stand guard as Ku Klux Klan members arrive for a demonstration at the state house building on July 18, 2015 in Columbia, South Carolina. The KKK protested the removal of the Confederate flag from the state house grounds and shouted racial slurs against minorities, as law enforcement tried to prevent violence between the opposing groups. Donald Trump’s most racist fan has spoken out about the plagiarism mishap in which Mrs. Trump blatantly ripped off a Michelle Obama speech while speaking at the Republican National Convention. When compared side-by-side, the two speeches are practically identical, and even a college plagiarism checker has confirmed that Melania’s speech was not original.

So, naturally when it came time for conservatives like former KKK leader David Duke to begin making excuses for the huge faux pas, Jews somehow always get the blame. According to Duke’s blog:

“Nobody could have been so stupid as to make about five or six common quotes out of Michele Obama’s Demo convention speech just a few years before and put it Melania Trump’s speech and not think it would get exposed!”

According to Duke, there is no possible way that Melania Trump could have an unoriginal thought, and so, clearly, this was a case of “inescapable logic” that was “intentional sabotage and treachery.”

This isn’t the first time that Duke has blamed Jews for Trump’s popularity issues. Recently, when The Donald made some very clearly racist comments towards Federal Judge Gonzalo Curiel, Duke blamed the Jewish-led media for blowing the comments out of proportion.

Despite a dive in numbers after the comments about Judge Curiel, Trump still refuses to disavow the endorsements made by David Duke and other members of the the Ku Klux Klan.
