Donald Trump ‘Live-Tweets’ Bill Clinton’s DNC Speech, Ends Up Looking Like TOTAL Fool (TWEETS)

On Tuesday, Bill Clinton closed out the second night of the Democratic National Convention with a speech devoted to his life with Hillary and what she’s done to make the world a better place.  The speech was well-received by most commentators. Most, but not all, because Donald Trump took to Twitter to blast the speech. Responding to a half-hour speech in 140 characters is very Trump. At this point, we’d be disappointed if he did anything else.

Trump’s response was, like the man himself, predicable and juvenile. The really sad thing about the response wasn’t that he attacked Clinton’s speech. Politics is a dirty game and Trump has always played rough. No, the sad thing is it highlights just how hypocritical the GOP nominee  is. Prior to announcing his candidacy, the former “Apprentice” star was very supportive of Bill and Hillary Clinton.  For example, check out this series of tweets collected by Randy Travis.

Trump contradicts himself so often that we wouldn’t be surprised to learn that it’s intentional. Maybe he’s just trying to distract from the Democratic convention? Considering what a train wreck his was, it makes sense he’d try and ruin the DNC.

Those tweets aren’t the only examples of Trump supporting Bill and Hillary. In 2008, he said that he thought she would make a good president or vice-president. He also predicted that Clinton would win the nomination in 2008, so hopefully his predictions for this year’s election are as accurate.

‘I know her she very well. She’s very talented. And she has a husband that I also like very much. I think she’s going to get the nomination rather easily’

Clinton isn’t the only person Trump is attacking. The GOP nominee has also turned his sights on former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. His attacks on Sanders were as juvenile and as petty as we’ve come to expect from him.

Trump has frequently stated that a lot of Sanders supporters are going to come over to his side. Even if we ignore the light-year’s difference on issues, it seems odd that Trump is attempting to win over Sanders’ supporters by insulting their candidate. Then again, logic is clearly not this man’s strong suit. On the other hand, he might just be jealous that Ted Cruz stabbed him in the back.
