JUST IN: Head Trump Adviser Demands American Muslims Be ‘Tagged’ (DETAILS)

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani spoke with reporters at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday. Giuliani told reporters he supports the idea of all American Muslims wearing electronic monitoring tags or bracelets that would allow authorities to track their whereabouts at all times.

Giuliani, who is currently advising the Trump campaign on terrorism and national security issues, told reporters:

‘I would think that’s an excellent idea. If you’re on the terror watch list, I should you know you’re on the terror watch list. You’re on there for a reason.’

One of the suspected gunmen from the attack in Normandy, France on Tuesday was wearing a similar type of monitoring device when he allegedly committed the attack that killed a Roman Catholic priest. According to the Los Angeles Times, he had attempted to fly to Syria twice, which authorities discovered by way of him wearing the tracking device.

ISIS has since claimed responsibility for the gruesome attack that left an 85-year-old priest dead and sparked wide debate over the apparent need for new and improved French security devices.

With the country still in shambles following the brutal attack in Nice that left 84 people dead, the French government is seemingly desperate to find a solution to combat the ever-increasing violence.

Appearing at the “RNC at the DNC” press event Wednesday, Giuliani told NJ Advance Media that he recommends Trump, should he become president, take similar measures as France to combat terrorism. Giuliani and several other conservative leaders believe Trump will be tougher on terrorism, and more specifically combatting ISIS, than Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

Recalling the February 1993 truck bombing of the World Trade Center that left six dead and hundreds more injured, Giuliani told reporters:

‘I put undercover agents in mosques for the first time in January 1994.’

He continued:

‘I did it because the 1993 bombing was planned in a mosque in Union City, New Jersey, and a second plan was uncovered to bomb our subways, which was foiled. And I kept those police officers in those mosques until I left as mayor.’

When asked about Trump’s comments regarding Russia’s intervention into Hillary Clinton’s 33,000 missing emails, Giuliani told The Daily Beast the following:

‘I don’t think foreign powers should be intervening in U.S. elections. Now, the reality of politics is that foreign powers do, and sometimes we intervene in their elections. So, in an idealistic world, the reality is that foreign powers should stay the heck out of our election. We should stay the heck out of their elections. But, gosh knows, President Obama was doing everything he could to unseat [Israeli Prime Minister] Bibi Netanyahu. His aides were over there, his pollsters were over there. His fundraisers were giving money to the opposition. America intervened directly in the Israeli election to defeat Bibi Netanyahu.’

However, earlier in the press conference, the former mayor said that Russia should immediately release any information they may have in regards to Clinton’s deleted emails so that there would be no surprises should she become president this fall.
