Katrina Pierson is still being humiliated for flunking American history, or at least missing the day her teacher discussed presidential term lengths. During an interview with CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer, Donald Trump’s spokeswoman blamed Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for the death of Army Captain Humayun Khan in 2004.
‘It was under Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton that changed the rules of engagement that probably cost his life, so I don’t understand why it’s so hard to understand why Donald Trump was confused about why he was being held responsible for something that he had nothing to do with while Hillary Clinton had everything to do with.’
Now, let’s do the math everyone. If Captain Humayun Khan died in 2004 and Obama was not elected president until 2008, there are four years left unaccounted for. It seems Pierson wasn’t aware that Khan died during the presidency of George W. Bush, while Obama was a state senator in Illinois.
Ever since her statement on CNN, a new and rather amusing hashtag has emerged, and #TrumpSacrifices now takes a back seat to #KatrinaPiersonHistory. People all over the world have shared hilarious posts to Twitter mocking Pierson.

Before the outbreak of #KatrinaPiersonHistory, the statement that started it all was a disrespectful comment made by none other than the infamous Donald Trump.
At the Democratic National Convention, Khizr Khan and his wife spoke about the death of their son and made a comment addressed to Trump, saying he’s never sacrificed anything. In an interview following the DNC, Trump responded to Khan’s statement by asking whether Khan’s wife had been “allowed” to speak at the DNC.
After Trump’s statement, the Khan Family asked for an apology because Trump’s response to the speech further stereotyped Muslims as misogynistic and abusive toward women.
In her interview with CNN, Katrina Pierson was responding to a question about whether or not Donald Trump has apologized to the Khan family for his response.
Although she stated that Trump apologized by “honoring the family,” Pierson ignorantly tried to put the blame on Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. It certainly backfired on her, though, as she blindly gave false information and made herself and Trump’s campaign look ridiculous.
