According to a poll released Thursday, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is leading her GOP rival by 46 points among Hispanic voters.
The FOX News Latino poll revealed that Clinton is supported by 66 percent of Hispanic registered voters while Trump is only supported by 20 percent.
Clinton’s lead has increased by 7 points since the last FOX News poll taken in May. In a three-way election race, Clinton receives a towering 59 percent in support while Trump gets 17 percent and Libertarian Nominee Gary Johnson at 16 percent.
A president should be able to relate to all ethnicities, and seek the support of everyone. Pew Research Center projected the Hispanic electorate is expected to reach 23.7 million in 2016. There are a continuously increasing number of eligible Hispanic voters. Their votes are essential to winning the general election. According to the recent polls, Hispanics don’t seem to be quite fond of Donald Trump, 82 percent of Latinos viewed him as unfavorable, while a majority of 55 percent have a favorable view of Clinton.
Donald’s big mouth could be a plausible reason for the decline in Hispanic support. Trump’s Anti-Hispanic immigration policy of building a wall along the U.S- Mexico border and deporting those in the U.S illegally, has cost him any chance of him becoming the next commander in chief. As reported in the Poll, if Latinos have to determine who would be more favorable to run the oval office, they chose Hillary Clinton over the infamous Donald Trump.
Since the Republican National Convention, Trump has done almost nothing except terrorize his supporters and destroy his campaign. Trump has ridiculed senior Republican officials, invited Russian spies to meddle in Hillary Clinton’s emails, picked fights with Gold Star parents mourning the death of their son killed in Iraq, and appeared to encourage gun enthusiasts to prematurely remove a U.S. President from office. In the span of just two weeks, he’s managed to wreak so much havoc.
No wonder Hillary is leading Trump 46 points among the Hispanic voters because Donald continues to prove that he only cares about himself and only has his best interest at heart. If he has to chance to run the country, he’ll run it right to the ground, claiming its all in his plan to ”Make America Great Again”. Republicans are withdrawing their votes, Hispanics are staying clear of the GOP nominee, and hopefully the rest of the country will turn its back on Trump and America can really be great again with a qualified president who will lead us in the right direction.
