Since the 1970’s it has been American tradition for Presidential candidates to release their tax returns to the American voters. This tradition allows Presidential candidates to be transparent with voters and give them more common ground as well as some insight on what kind of person the nominee truly is. As with many aspects of American views, traditions, and beliefs, the Republican nominee, Donald Trump, is breaking this tradition and refuses to release his tax returns.

Whether it be out of fear or extreme narcissism, Donald Trump has made it clear that he will not be releasing his tax information this election season and finds excuse after excuse about why he is unable to.

This should come as no surprise considering Trump’s arrogance, behavior, and inability to take responsibility for his actions throughout the election season. Releasing his tax information could bring light to the truly horrific being Trump is and show just how little he contributes into the economy he wishes to run.

After being asked hundreds of times to release his taxes to the general public, Trump announced:

‘I don’t think anybody cares, except some members of the press.’

and continued on to explain that he has, according to ABC News:

‘provided the ‘most extensive financial review of anybody in the history of politics’ and because he’s under a ‘routine audit,’ he’s not able to make his tax returns public.’

Trump is referring to the same financial review that all Presidential candidates have to turn in. His feeble mind is incapable of understanding that Americans and his fellow politicians are not out to get him, but simply treating him like any other candidate.

Many American’s have given up hope of ever seeing Trump’s taxes as he finds one excuse after another and now claims:

‘When the audit is done, I’ll release them. I don’t know when that’s gonna be, it could be soon, it could be not.’

With every other sentence that spews from Trumps mouth being a lie, it is very unlikely American’s will ever see his taxes.
