At a rally in Asheville, North Carolina, protesters of Donald Trump’s racist, sexist, xenophobic, and all-around bigoted rhetoric were escorted out, as they usually are at his rallies. As usual, also, his supporters had to prove that Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” comment was right on target.
According to on-site reporters, both male and female protesters were violently attacked by Trump’s supporters.

Tensions were high between protesters and supporters even before the rally, according to Citizen-Times.
‘Earlier in the afternoon, APD confiscated a firearm from someone outside the arena, Hallingse said.
‘Nathan West, chairman of the Buncombe County GOP, said he had witnessed one physical altercation between a protester and an attendee that was broken up by police.’
According to The Charlotte Observer, inside the event, Donald Trump bashed Hillary Clinton for her “basket of deplorables” comment. His supporters, who have become famous for physically attacking protesters at their leader’s rallies, are just “hard-working” folks, according to the GOP nominee.
‘Hillary Clinton has been running a hate-filled, negative campaign with no policy, no solutions and no new ideas.
‘While she calls you deplorable, I call you hard-working American patriots who want a better future for our country…. She talks about people like they’re objects, not human beings.’
Meanwhile, those hard-working American patriots were busy proving just exactly how right Hillary Clinton was in her characterization of them.
A Trump supporter just grabbed a protester by the neck then punched him. Protester escorted out, man stayed.
