In a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Snoop Dogg shared his thoughts on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. Based on the rapper and producer’s past comments on Trump, it is not surprising that his most recent remarks were not exactly positive.

When asked about the video he posted in July that featured him calling Donald Trump, among other things, a “punkass,” Snoop Dogg responded,

‘How could we have someone as reckless as him running our country? I been around for a long time. I seen Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, Bushes, Clintons. And I never seen a motherf*cker like him.’

In the video, which can be viewed below, Snoop Dogg attacked Trump and his wife, Melania, who delivered a speech at the Republican National Convention that was plagiarized from one Michelle Obama gave years before.

Donald Trump and his antics were only a small portion of the interview with Rolling Stone, however. Snoop Dogg also spoke about his recent collaboration with fellow rapper the Game. The two led a march to LAPD headquarters as a way to protest police violence.

When asked about what made him want to get involved, Snoop Dogg explained, “That day was about saying, ‘We aren’t going to be done like this anymore by you.’ When there’s an incident with a civilian, we need to make sure everyone makes it home safely — not just the officer.”

He also added that, as he’s gotten older, he’s gained some respect and understanding for police officers and realizes that most of them are humans, too. However, it is important to him that people realize how long black people have been antagonized by the police.

‘Every day of our lives, this is what we’ve been going through with the police. Getting beat, getting pulled over for nothing, getting harassed, getting killed. All that shit been going on for years, but now there’s cameras and now they’re saying everybody’s woke. No, we’ve been woke.’
