Twitter Goes HAYWIRE After Donald Trump Jr. Trashes The Work Ethic Of Mothers (RESPONSES)

Donald Trump Jr. has been catching some flack recently for a tweet he posted back in 2011.

The offensive tweet, which can be seen below, suggests that mothers are only able to talk about things like “birth, pregnancy, and diapers.”

Twitter has given Trump Jr. a lot of grief for his offensive remarks. Just a few responses can be seen below.

One user reminded the younger Trump that there are enough problems in the world without him contributing.

Another didn’t mince words in letting him know how they felt about him.

This person pointed out how offensive it was to tweet about a “herd of mothers.”

Another took the time to remind Trump Jr. of where he came from.

And this user came up with the perfect nickname for the eldest son of the GOP nominee.

It’s not exactly surprising that Trump Jr. would tweet something that was derogatory towards women. After all, he is the son of a master misogynist who has been known to call women “fat,” “ugly,” and “slobs.”

In addition to tweeting offensive things himself, Trump Jr. has also been known to defend his father’s misogyny. On an episode of Kilmeade and Friends, the younger Trump responded to questions about the misogynistic comments his father made on the “Howard Stern Show.”

‘People talk, “Oh your father’s a misogynist look what he said about women,” like, on Howard Stern. When he gets with Howard Stern, who’s a friend of his, he’ll joke around, because it’s a comedy show. He’s allowed to have a personality. He will.’

Donald Trump has recently been doing his best to court female voters, a demographic he has struggled with throughout the election, and the revival of his son’s offensive tweet surely isn’t going to help him in this already uphill battle. According to a CBS poll that was released on Sept. 15, Clinton holds a double-digit lead over Trump when it comes to women, 52 percent to 39 percent.

On Monday, in a desperate effort to convince women to vote for him, Trump’s campaign launched the Trump-Pence Women’s Empowerment Tour, which is led by his spokeswoman, Katrina Pierson, his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, reality star Omarosa Manigualt, YouTube stars Diamond and Silk, and vice-president of the Eric Trump foundation, Lynne Patton.

Luckily for the Trump campaign, Donald Trump Jr. has nothing to do with the women’s empowerment initiative. Unfortunately for the rest of us, though, he still has access to his Twitter account.
