BREAKING: Explosions At New Jersey Train Station Caught On Video, ‘Active Terror Cell’ Feared (VIDEO)

The hunt for the person or persons behind multiple Saturday bombing attacks brought authorities to a New Jersey train station late Sunday night where they came across nearly a half dozen more improvised explosive devices, or IEDs.

One of the bombs reportedly went off as a police robot was attempting to disarm them, but that explosion was not a controlled incident, and all area train services remained halted until early Monday morning.

The New Jersey town’s mayor spoke to the incident, telling media, “Based on the loudness, I think people could have been severely hurt or injured if they had been in the vicinity.”

The same man is wanted by authorities for all 3 of the weekend’s incidents, from Saturday night’s explosion in New York City to the late Sunday night discovery of the backpack full of bombs.

That man was identified by the New York City Police Department as 28-year-old Akhmad Khan Rahami, a New Jersey resident and naturalized US citizen born in Afghanistan.

Although one man is suspected as behind the weekend’s incidents, authorities are reportedly concerned that he is a part of an “active terror cell” operating in the New York/ New Jersey area.

Their concern comes after Saturday saw two separate explosives incidents, with a bomb going off in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood wounding close to 30 hours after a pipe bomb went off at the starting line of a New Jersey footrace, with no injuries due to a delay in the start of the race.
