Whether you’re “feeling the Johnson,” or ready to get behind Green Party nominee, Jill Stein, Seth MacFarlane has an important message for you.

The comedy writer and actor, creator of TV hit Family Guy, and screenwriter and star of A Million Ways to Die in the West knows just how to phrase a message for perfect sarcasm, perfect humor, and perfect perspective.

In fact, if you’re a supporter of Jill Stein, you may have seen her motto: It’s in Our Hands.

MacFarlane knows how true that really is and took to Twitter to share a frightening thought:

‘Remember: This November you can help elect President Donald Trump just by voting for Gary Johnson or Jill Stein! Happy Election Year!’

As stagnant as American politics can become because of our focus on a two-party system, this coming election in November is too important to make a statement. Bernie Sanders supporters have already been reminded by their preferred candidate that a conscience vote may not be the wisest move this election in particular.

Recent history gives the example of the 2000 election, when the addition of Green Party candidate Ralph Nader split the Democratic Party vote and handed the presidency to Republican George W. Bush. Although Al Gore won the popular vote, he lost the state of Florida in a close race that required a recount. Ralph Nader received nearly 100,000 votes in Florida, many from Democrats, which was not nearly enough to carry the state. However, the problem lies in the fact that George W. Bush only won the state by 537 votes, taking all 25 of Florida’s electoral, and winning the White House.

If it hadn’t been for Green Party candidate Nader, Al Gore would have handily won Florida, and the presidency. When considered from the perspective of 16 years in the future, through the lens of Bush’s foolish and expensive “War on Terror,” his invasion of Iraq that eventually led to the formation of ISIL, and his administration’s pathetic response to Katrina, it’s a frightening thought indeed that a conscience vote for Gary Johnson or Jill Stein could lead to a Donald Trump presidency.

If you thought George W. Bush was kind of dumb and incompetent, how much worse would a Trump presidency be?
