Hillary Delivers KNOCK OUT Blow: ‘What Kind Of GENIUS Loses A BILLION DOLLARS?’ (VIDEO)

Hillary Clinton was in fine fettle on Monday as she delivered a barn burner of a speech and smacked down Donald Trump before a cheering crowd in Toledo, Ohio.

The Toledo Blade reports:

‘Hillary Clinton, making her first appearance in northwest Ohio today at the Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza, blasted her opponent for dodging federal taxes after losing nearly a $1 billion in 1995.’

That’s right. After 15 months of Donald Trump bragging about what a great businessman he is, and how that would make him so much better at running our country than Hillary Clinton, it turns out he’s not very good at running businesses at all. In fact, the New York Times discovered Donald Trump took a $916 million loss on his 1995 income tax returns.

But Donald Trump never felt the consequences of the colossal mismanagement and failure of his airline, casinos, and the Plaza Hotel. Instead, his contractors, workers, and U.S. taxpayers got screwed while he got a massive tax break.

Those who support Hillary Clinton have long lamented her stilted and awkward speeches. But on Monday, the Democratic candidate channeled her inner Bernie Sanders and cut loose.

First, she praised LeBron James from the Cleveland Cavaliers for his work with children, thanked him for his endorsement, and assured her audience that if she becomes president, “LeBron will always be the king.”

Hillary Clinton then launched into the substance of her economic policy speech, and declared:

‘Toledo is the kind of place where people work hard, look after one another, and yes, pay their taxes.’

After that slight dig at Donald Trump, she talked about her grandfather. he worked in a lace factory in Scranton, Penn. and believed that if he worked hard and “did the right thing,” he’d have a “better life” and his kids would have “an even better life.”

‘You recognize that we all have to do our part because we are all in this together, and it matters. We believe honest work deserves honest pay. We believe everyone should have the right to join a strong union that will always have your back.’

Hillary Clinton also talked about how her father owned a small business making drapes and how she’d sometimes help him. After successfully humanizing herself, she tore into Donald Trump for “taking from America with both hands, leaving us with the bill.”

‘Trump’s campaign is bragging that not paying taxes makes him a genius. What kind of genius loses $1 billion in a single year?’

Ouch. And Hillary Clinton wasn’t even done yet…She kept pummeling him.

‘How anyone can lose a dollar, let alone a billion dollars, in the casino industry is beyond me.’

But the worst thing about Donald Trump’s bankruptcies and tax write-offs was how he did nothing to help the ordinary people hurt by his incompetence.

‘[H]e didn’t lift a finger to help protect his employees, or all the small businesses and contractors he hired[…] They all got hammered while he was busy with his accountants trying to figure out how he could keep living like a billionaire.’

Instead of appealing to hate, bigotry, and fear, Hillary Clinton called on our innate sense of fairness.

‘While millions of American families, including mine and yours, were working hard, paying our fair share, it seems he was contributing nothing to our nation.’

She also expressed outrage over the GOP candidate’s lack of patriotism.

‘He’s been dissing America in this whole campaign. He talks us down, makes disparaging comments about our country, calls our military a disaster. It’s not, but it might have been if everyone else had failed to pay taxes to support our great men and women in uniform.’

Donald Trump wants working people to think he’s in their corner, but Hillary Clinton reminded her audience of how he was against President Barack Obama’s auto industry bailout.

‘At the time of the worst financial crisis in Ohio in 2009, he would have let you twist and fall’

Hillary Clinton also attacked Donald Trump for refusing to release his tax returns and called for a federal law that would require presidential candidates to do that in the future.
