Another Republican senator has jumped into the rushing waterfall of GOP escapees fleeing Donald Trump. Idaho Republican Senator Mike Crapo has withdrawn his Trump endorsement and urged him to quit the presidential ticket.
Saturday morning Crapo tried to distance himself from the GOP’s candidate, after The Washington Post leaked Trump’s vulgar, anti-woman video, according to MSNBC. The billionaire’s obscene and graphic attitude toward women as sexual objects may have finally done him in.
Three Republican senators have called for Trump to abandon the party’s presidential ticket, Utah Senator Mike Lee, Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse, and Illinois Senator Mark Kirk. Republican senators have also begun to withdraw their Trump endorsement, such as Utah’s Jason Chaffetz and Alabama’s Martha Roby.
Conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt also jumped into the torrential flood of deserters. Senator Crapo released a statement:
‘I have reached the decision that I can no longer endorse Donald Trump,” Crapo said in a statement.
‘This is not a decision that I have reached lightly, but his pattern of behavior has left me no choice.’
Crapo continued, saying Trump’s consistent behavior toward women is, “disrespectful, profane, and demeaning.”
‘I urge Donald Trump to step aside and allow the Republican party to put forward a conservative candidate like Mike Pence who can defeat Hillary Clinton.’
The GOP’s choice for president, Trump, spoke freely on a hot microphone about women:
‘You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything.
‘Grab them by the p—-.’
But Trump is unrepentant about his actions. He claimed:
‘There is a zero chance I will quit.’
