Former U.S. Attorney General Makes Stunning Donald Trump Announcement (DETAILS)

Eric Holder, the first African-American to hold the title of US Attorney General, is an infrequent Twitter user, but took to Twitter after the presidential debate Sunday to send a warning about Donald Trump’s jail comment.

During Sunday night’s presidential debate Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said that he would put Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in jail when he’s elected.

Former Attorney General Eric Holder is an infrequent Twitter user but for his response to the GOP nominee he made an exception.

The office of Attorney General isn’t a disciple of the president of the United States, it’s a position that is appointed and later confirmed by Congress. They’re sworn in during a ceremony where they pledge to defend the United States constitution. It’s for this reason that former Attorney General Holder is extremely concerned about Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump saying that he plans to appoint law leaders that would put the Democratic presidential nominee in jail. That’s simply not how it works.

He’s not wrong. The truly terrifying part is that Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie is the likely candidate for the GOP nominee’s pick for Attorney General, currently heading Trump’s transition team.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump made his threats during the Sunday night presidential debate in response to Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s deleting 33,000 private emails. Not once has Trump brought up the fact that the Bush Administration not only deleted emails, but deleted 22 million emails that could have explained the hidden reasoning behind why the U.S. invaded Iraq, resulting in the Iraq War.

Americans should be very afraid of a person entering the highest office in the land who not only stoops to threats but also promises to manipulate those in positions of power in order to get what he wants.
