Elizabeth Warren totally crushed Mitt Romney in a tweet for caving to Donald Trump. She has been a brilliant challenger of the billionaire-turned-president-elect, and her critical tweets are priceless.
On Thursday she hit the former governor where it hurts. Romney came crawling to Trump on his knees when the almost-president called, offering a job interview for Secretary of State.
Senator Warren suggested that Romney bring along his binders full of women. When the former governor was making his own presidential run against President Barack Obama in 2008, the public criticized him for a lack of women on his proposed go-to team. So the former candidate pulled together binders stuffed with women’s names and offered them up as proof of his fairness.
Here is how Warren handed Romney his head on Twitter:

Trump’s cabinet shortlist of 42 people contains a very lonely five women. That means there is fewer than one woman for every eight men. Not good.
Then again, the president-elect is known for holding grudges and may be dangling the Secretary of State job before Romney’s eyes to get even with him. It is interesting that Trump has invited some of the people who were his worst critics up to his golden offices in the New York City Trump Tower. Paybacks can be hell.
When the president-elect was campaigning, Romney came out with harsh criticism. He told 700 people at the University of Utah:
‘Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud. His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University. He’s playing members of the American public for suckers: He gets a free ride to the White House, and all we get is a lousy hat.’
But the billionaire fired back during a Portland, Maine rally:
‘You can see how loyal he is. He was begging for my endorsement. I could’ve said, ‘Mitt, drop to your knees,’ and he would’ve dropped to his knees. He was begging. True. True. He was begging me.’
Fortunately, Warren has been nonstop pounding Trump with her classic tweets. She got him on bringing in the most conservative, longest entrenched political people to populate his close circle:
‘[email protected] Trump isn’t “draining the swamp.” He’s inviting the biggest, ugliest swamp monsters in the front door. ‘

In August, she came up with this a real classic:
‘[email protected] makes death threats because he’s a pathetic coward who can’t handle the fact that he’s losing to a girl.’

Warren has it right. Trump just might have a big league problem with women.
