President-elect Donald Trump certainly understands the value of branding, and this time he’s targeting the winter holiday season with a collectible “Make America Great Again” hat ornament.

With massive conflict of interests issues piling up behind him, our new president has decided that a $149 Christmas ornament modeled after his now-iconic red campaign ball cap is just the thing to keep the holidays bright. So, if Donald Trump champagne or Donald Trump mail-order steaks weren’t tacky enough for you, now there’s there’s a collectible Christmas ornament.

According to business news channel, CNBC, the ornament is now available through his website from the Trump Make America Great Again Committee and is finished with 14-karat gold.

The “Trump store manager” sent out an email to everyone on the campaign mailing list with a message that said:

‘President-elect Trump loves Christmas and makes a point of proudly saying “Merry Christmas” every chance he gets. This collectible ornament commemorates Trump’s commitment to the Christmas spirit and will be a great addition to your family’s tree this year.’

Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks told the New York Daily News that the ornaments are even made in the United States — a nice change of pace for merchandise normally offered by the Trump brand. Perhaps it’s his first step in returning manufacturing to the U.S. The real life, wearable hats are rumored to have been made in China.

Unfortunately, the purchase of the ornament, as well as any other goods from the store, are considered donations. This means they can’t be returned unless they arrive damaged or don’t fit. However, they can be freely tossed into the nearest lake with feeling or dumped into the closest incinerator in contempt.

Trump’s “War on Christmas” dog-whistle is certainly being brought to the forefront, just in time for the holiday season. Donald Trump hit a note with more parochial American voters during his campaign when he promised that if he were elected, people would start saying “Merry Christmas” instead of “Happy Holidays.”

Those of us who normally (and quite reasonably) assume that New Year’s Day, a federally recognized secular holiday, is part of season’s greetings will just have to deal with it and devise a separate greeting in order to comply with Trump’s policies.

So, if you or anyone you love is dreaming of a really “white Christmas,” you can order it at the website.
