Michael Moore Announces MASSIVE Inauguration Protests, Details Here (DETAILS)

Leading left-wing documentary filmmaker Michael Moore has just begun to help promote a dramatic protest that intends to shut down Washington, D.C. when President-elect Donald Trump is inaugurated on Jan. 20, 2017 — to the point of forcing his inauguration to be held “behind closed doors,” ostensibly for security purposes.

The jumping-off point for the opposition to Trump’s incoming presidential administration voiced by Moore and his ideological colleagues is simple — Hillary Clinton remains ahead in the national popular vote total by nearly 2.7 million votes and counting.

And yet, even though such a vast chasm exists between Clinton and Trump in terms of the popular vote, with Clinton out ahead, Trump still managed to pull off a winning margin in the electoral college. Trump won the densely populated states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, thus securing his Electoral College lead, since more densely populated states have more electoral college members.

With all this in mind, Moore and the others who continue to stage opposition to Trump intend to point out through their actions that not only do they themselves oppose Trump, but so does the majority of the country — even though Trump is set to be inaugurated as the next president of the United States on Jan. 20 anyway.

Moore tweeted late Tuesday night a link to the website of an organization calling itself “#DisruptJ20,” alongside a message reading:

‘Disrupt the Inauguration. The Majority have spoken — by nearly 2.7 million votes & counting! Silence is not an option.’

Following Moore’s link leads to a website set up to encourage visitors to join the cause of pushing through protests against Donald Trump on the occasion of his inauguration.

The website’s front page message begins:

‘We call on all people of good conscience to join in disrupting the ceremonies. If Trump is to be inaugurated at all, let it happen behind closed doors, showing the true face of the security state Trump will preside over. It must be made clear to the whole world that the vast majority of people in the United States do not support his presidency or consent to his rule.’

It still remains to be seen if the protesters signing on to DisruptJ20’s dramatic plan either intend to or will end up breaking the law with the reach of their actions.

Protests and protest efforts have been underway across the country at a near steady pace since Trump’s shock victory over Hillary Clinton about one month ago.
