How much would you pay to go on a private hunting trip with President-elect Donald Trump’s sons Eric and Donald Trump Jr.? Does $500,000 or $1 million (if you want to bring a couple friends) sound about right?

You’d think that after Ivanka Trump came under fire for literally auctioning herself to the highest bidder in a St. Jude Children’s Hospital fundraiser for Eric Trump’s foundation, they’d back off from this sort of thing. The final bid came in at $72,888…And then the page was taken down, possibly because of her likely role in the Trump administration.

TMZ got hold of a draft copy of an invitation to the Trump family’s “Opening Day” bash. Held on Jan. 21, the day after the inauguration at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in D.C. The preferred attire is “Camouflage & Cufflinks,” but “jeans, boots, and hats” are also welcome. Since Donald Trump can’t seem to line up any A-list performers even for the Inauguration Day events, Alabama and Toby Keith will provide the entertainment.

Team Trump is still hammering out the details. TMZ’s sources say they’re still not sure whether The Donald can actually attend the event, and that would affect the pricing for the various event packages.

Strangely, when you consider the GOP’s stance on environmental issues, the invite states:

‘All net proceeds from the Opening Day event will be donated to conservation charities.’

Given the voracious corporate tools Donald Trump plans on appointing to his cabinet, these “conservation charities” will have their work cut out for them.

Here’s a sampling of the “sponsorship” packages the lucky recipients of these invitations can choose from. The top two packages — for $1 million and $500,000 — promise a “multi-day hunting and/or fishing excursion” with Eric and/or Donald Trump Jr.

Bald Eagle package: Private reception and photo opportunity for 16 guests with President Donald J. Trump. Four autographed guitars by an Opening Day 2017 performer. Elite Hunter’s Package with commemorative custom details. Multi-day hunting and/or fishing excursion for four guests with Donald Trump, Jr. and/or Eric Trump, and team. Outfitter’s Pro Package with commemorative custom details. 85 VIP guest tickets. Early event entry. Access to VIP Lounge. 200 General Admission guest tickets. Priority Listing on all printed material. Name recognition on invitation materials, must respond immediately: $1 MILLION.

Grizzly Bear package: Private reception and photo opportunity for 8 guests with President Donald J. Trump. Two autographed guitars by an Opening Day 2017 performer. Outfitter’s Pro Package with commemorative custom details. 45 VIP guest tickets. Early event entry. Access to VIP Lounge. 90 General Admission guest tickets. Name recognition on invitation materials, must respond immediately: $500,000.

But if you’re tapped out from the holidays and sticking to a budget, you can settle for the Wild Turkey package.

Wild Turkey package: 2 VIP guest tickets, early event entry, access to the VIP lounge, Outfitter’s Pro package with commemorative custom details, four General Admission guest tickets. 30 General Admission guest tickets.Price: $25,000

Strangely, no “Cheetah Package” for a hunting trip Eric and Donald Trump Jr. was available.

Nor does the invitation offer any hunting expeditions along the U.S./Mexico border, even though many of Donald Trump’s supporters would jump at the chance.

TMZ adds:

‘Our sources say “Opening Day” is being thrown to thank the hunting, shooting and fishing communities for their support. It’s something mainstream media didn’t cover, but Donald Trump Jr. and others spent a lot of time in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Iowa … all states with a huge population of hunters, fishermen and gun enthusiasts.’

Team Trump says they believe the “hunting, shooting and fishing communities” — GOP-speak for “pro-gun zealots” — turned out “in force” on Election Day.
