N.Y Attorney General Makes MAJOR Trump Investigation Announcement, Donald Unhinged (DETAILS)

Another day, another scandal. At least that’s how things seem to be playing out so far in the wake of Donald Trump’s presidential “victory.”

Most recently, it seems the president-elect has rather randomly taken to Twitter in defense of his foundation, the Donald J. Trump Foundation.

‘I gave millions of dollars to DJT Foundation, raised or received millions more, ALL of which is given to charity, and media won’t report it!’

And of course, Trump’s charity is just simply the best, it’s tremendous.

‘The DJT Foundation, unlike most foundations, never paid fees, rent, salaries or any expenses. 100% of money goes to wonderful charities!’

The fact of the matter is, the tweets are anything but random. They’re actually in response to New York attorney general Eric Schneiderman’s ruling that Trump is prohibited from dissolving his foundation – something the president-elect planned to do under the guise of eliminating “potential conflicts of interest” before assuming the presidency.

Amy Spitalnick, spokeswoman to attorney general Eric Schneiderman, told the Associated Press that “the Trump foundation is still under investigation by this office and cannot legally dissolve until that investigation is complete.”

You see, dissolving the foundation would allow for Trump to cover his tracks, which includes covering the paper trailĀ from bribes paid to Florida attorney general Pam Bondi, sending $2 million of his own income through the charity to avoid taxation, and the best part – using $20,000 of charity funds to buy a painting of himself. Yes – you read that right.

Dissolving the foundation, at this point, would eliminate any level of accountability and would allow Trump to get away with using his foundation for personal financial gain. And maybe more importantly, would allow him to believe that, because he is Donald Trump, he’s somehow above the law of this country.

Thankfully, there are attorneys general such as Eric Schneiderman who work hard to uphold the integrity of the legal system in this country, and who fight to hold our elected officials accountable. And right now, these individuals are more crucial than ever, because we certainly can’t trust our future president to be an honest and accountable leader himself.
