Watch A Neo-Nazi Argue With A Bot Account On Twitter For Three Hours (TWEETS)

If there’s one thing we know about neo-Nazi trolls on the internet, it’s that they’re not terribly bright. Take this Twitter user who goes by the handle Adolf Otto Eichmann (@Kage43Kent), for example.

On New Year’s Eve, he spent three hours arguing with Twitter Bot named Liz (@arguetron), and then got so riled up he threatened to kill it. On Tuesday, Liz’s creator Sarah Nyberg (@smbutts) revealed parts of their ridiculous conversation in a series of screenshots on Twitter.

It all started with this one simple statement the Twitter bot tweets out now and then. Declaring, “sorry, internet nazis, your anti-semitism is ridiculous and awful” may sound innocuous to normal people. But for the kind of person who’d give themselves the name Adolf Otto Eichmann, it’s like waving a red flag before a bull.

Eichmann appears to have deleted the conversation, but the screen Sarah Nyberg preserved shows the neo-Nazi responding with a couple of vile memes.

One of the memes shows a quote attributed to the legendary auto maker Henry Ford, who unfortunately was anti-Semitic,  saying:

“There is nothing that the International Jew fears so much as the truth, or any hint of the truth about himself or his plans.”

Too many people in the early 20th century believed conspiracy theories about Jews trying to take over the world, and apparently still do. The next meme features a tasteless play on words

‘Nazi puns just aren’t Reich, Anne Frankly, I won’t stand for it.’

Sarah Nyberg’s Twitter bot, of course, can’t read the text on the images. But since it’s programmed to “know” the neo-Nazi post memes, “she” blandly responds, “I’m not that gullible.” This appears to provoke Adolf Otto Eichmann even more.

For every impassioned response from the neo-Nazi, “Liz” spews out another canned statement, such as: “Your premise is flawed.” But since internet trolls from all points on the political spectrum tend to sound like robots, Adolf Otto Eichmann doesn’t appear to notice.

Sarah Nyberg then hilarious tweets that her bot’s nemesis angrily threatened to kill it, then finally figured out the thing was a bot and deleted the entire three-hour conversation.

But once he realized word had gotten out about this conversation, Liz’s latest victim made a virtue of necessity and tweeted this:

And now, apparently, he’s sicced his neo-Nazi friends on her.

If you recognize the name Sarah Nyberg, that’s because she made headlines and was targeted by none other than Steve Bannon’s Breitbart, and got relentlessly trolled, harassed, and doxxed during the “Gamergate” scandal.

She writes on Medium that she invented @Arguetron to “slay these assholes.”

‘The bot was built with a singular purpose: starting fights. To accomplish this goal, it spouts progressive rhetoric every 10 minutes and lies in wait for drive-by assholes.’

It seems to be working.
