Commentator Bill Kristol Just Made A Trump/Putin Announcement That Has Donald Fuming

Twitter has been in an uproar after President-elect Trump took to Twitter on Saturday morning to attack civil rights icon and Democratic Congressman, John Lewis.

However, even conservatives are disgusted with Trump, with many taking to Twitter to defend Lewis, the man who has spent a major portion of his life fighting for the rights of African-American citizens.

In yet another early morning unhinged Twitter tantrum, Trump tweeted:

‘Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results. All talk, talk, talk – no actions or results. Sad!’

Conservative commentator Bill Kristol obviously disagreed with Trump’s attack, taking to Twitter to point out that the soon-to-be commander-in-chief seemingly has more respect for Russian President Vladimir Putin than he does for an America civil rights hero. He wrote:

‘It’s telling, I’m afraid, that Donald Trump treats Vladimir Putin with more respect than he does John Lewis.’

Indeed it is. It’s also disgusting that a man who’s about to become the most powerful person in the United States of America would attack a member of Congress who has selflessly served his country for decades.

It’s no secret that Kristol is no fan of Trump’s, given the fact that he was heavily involved in the “Never Trump” movement leading up to the presidential election.

Democratic Rep. Jerry Nadler also pointed out Trump’s relationship with Putin, tweeting:

‘@realDonaldTrump stands with V. Putin. I stand with @repJohnLewis.’

John Weaver, a strategist to former GOP presidential candidate John Kasich also reamed Trump for his low-blow, tweeting:

‘Trump attacks: POWs, Mexicans, Muslims, disabled reporter, military & intel officers, Gold Star Parents, John Lewis. But never Putin. Never!’

It seem that if you’re not rich, white, powerful, and able-bodied, you’re useless in the mind of Donald Trump.¬†What a *wonderful* man to become the 45th President of the United States.

GOP Senator Ben Sasse responded to Trump’s attack by pointing out that that John Lewis’ so-called “talk” has managed to change the world:

‘John Lewis and his “talk” have changed the world.’
