Twitter users did not let the world down in response to the hilariously staged photo Trump tweeted on Wednesday.
The photo and accompanying tweet depicted Trump supposedly writing his speech for his upcoming Inauguration:
‘Writing my inaugural address at the Winter White House, Mar-a-Lago, three weeks ago. Looking forward to Friday. #Inauguration’

Winter White House? Writing? What kind of world are we living in?
It has been reported that Donald Trump truly is writing his own inauguration speech. Two senior Trump transition aides confirmed to Trump’s favorite news outlet (CNN) that:
‘Trump told guests at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, as well as presidential historian Douglas Brinkley, that he planned to write the speech himself.’
America better strap in for a very interesting address, if that is indeed the case.
While an address that was inspiring, heartfelt or unifying wasn’t exactly expected, it would have made for a nice reprieve from Trump’s usual garbage.
Twitter thankfully interrupted this somber moment with some wonderfully witty commentary, as well as by highlighting some flaws in his photo.
Here are some of the best ones:

Let’s just hope Donald Trump can make it through without verbatim plagiarism.
