One of the greatest things that came out of the Inauguration of Donald Trump Friday, might just be a video of alt-right scumbag Richard Spencer getting sucker punched.
Spencer has become somewhat of a celebrity through his involvement in the “alt-right movement,” heading the National Policy Institute (NPI). The National Policy Institute seeks:
‘To elevate the consciousness of whites, ensure our biological and cultural continuity, and protect our civil rights. The institute … will study the consequences of the ongoing influx that non-Western populations pose to our national identity.’
Essentially, Spencer brings together other white-nationalists and attempts to generate action toward achieving the “dream” of an all-white America – through “peaceful ethical cleansing.”
He describes their pursuit as being “a new society, an ethno-state that would be a gathering point for all Europeans. It would be a new society based on very different ideals than, say, the Declaration of Independence.”
What really elevated his profile, however, was a speech he delivered to a group of 200 of the NPI’s supporters where he blatantly re-iterated Nazi slogans and gestures, yelling:
‘Hail Trump, hail our people, hail victory’
The video was posted to Twitter Friday evening by ABC News‘ Zoe Daniel. In the video, Daniel questions Spencer about a pin he was wearing. The pin in question was a “Pepe the Frog” pin which was recently inducted into the Anti-Defamation League database as an anti-Semitic hate symbol.
Thankfully, people were spared having to listen to Spencer’s explanation of the symbol and listen to his hate-filled rhetoric because it was at precisely that moment that he was caught by surprise. An unidentified man in a black hood leapt towards him with his fist cocked, and caught Spencer with a clean punch to the right side of his face.
Spencer, however, didn’t retaliate and continued walking down the street, likely in shock from being clocked in the face. He later issued an extremely long-winded statement via Periscope and Twitter on his assault. It is 10 minutes long, includes rambling about how blind-sighted he was, how people genuinely “want to talk with [him] about these [neo-Nazi, white supremacist] ideas” and other similar nonsense.
He has also re-tweeted a slew of videos to his personal Twitter page, depicting him getting hit. Should anyone feel the desire to watch it, here it is, but truly it is recommended to skip right to the one of him getting sucker punched, just below it:

Here’s the one you actually want to watch. The Twitter user writes:
‘I made an animated gif out of the shitlord neo-Nazi Richard Spencer getting clocked in the face at the #inauguration. You’re welcome.’

Something good had to have come out of the mess happening in Washington D.C. right now, and this — well, this is definitely it.
