Almost three million American’s dislike Donald Trump so much that they did not vote for him. That’s a pill so hard for narcissistic Trump to swallow that he is concocting voter fraud claims to minimize the public’s disdain for him and further victimize himself as being mistreated.
As much as Trump wasn’t the desired pick, the American public did not want oil mogul Rex Tillerson to be head of the U.S. Department of State. Unfortunately, he was confirmed. However, in a surprising move Tillerson’s “entire senior management team just resigned,” reports The Washington Post.
With every reason to be blunt given how the media has been treated by Donald Trump, The Washington Post candidly disclosed:
‘The entire senior level of management officials resigned Wednesday, part of an ongoing mass exodus of senior foreign service officers who don’t want to stick around for the Trump era.’
Simply put: Some of the most highly paid officials within the State Department would rather be jobless than work under Donald Trump. According to The Washington Post:
‘The State Department’s long-serving Undersecretary for Management, Patrick Kennedy resigned unexpectedly. Assistant Secretary of State for Administration Joyce Anne Barr, Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Michele Bond and Ambassador Gentry O. Smith, director of the Office of Foreign Missions, followed him out the door. All are career foreign service officers who have served under both Republican and Democratic administrations.’
It’s debatable who said, “If you stand for nothing, you’ll fall for anything,” but it’s true. Way to stand for something Patrick Kennedy, Joyce Anne Barr, and Ambassador Gentry O. Smith. The only way to begin chipping away at the callous, pompous, truculent ways of Donald Trump, is to stand up to him.
