On Wednesday morning, the disorganized, frantically racist set of circumstances that birthed Donald Trump’s Muslim ban got another light shone onto it via Trump’s Twitter.
Trump is not taking even the slightest show of opposition to his ban in stride. Rather, just like every other situation that Trump finds himself in, if you dare take issue with him, then you’re as good as dead to him. He is not interested in conversation or growth when it comes to his positions and the way he does things. He just wants you out of the way.
Wednesday morning on Twitter, he wrote, ever so conveniently and yet sickeningly nonchalantly, “Everybody is arguing whether or not it is a BAN. Call it what you want, it is about keeping bad people (with bad intentions) out of country!”

So, to sum up Trump’s tweet — he doesn’t give a damn about any of you “liberals” who are so up in arms with “fake tears” over his move to ban hundreds of millions of people from a certain religion from the United States for the time being.
Peeling away the lies — or, rather, the alternative facts — leaves that as all that’s left of Trump’s statement here.
He claims that the ban is about keeping “bad people with bad intentions out of [the] country.”
However, the people who have been kept out of the country because of his ban could hardly be said to have “bad intentions.” They include Iraqi refugees who have worked with the U.S. Army for years and the elderly mother of an American serviceman who died after being stuck in Iraq because of the Muslim ban while ill.
Those people do not have bad intentions, Trump, and we know that they don’t.
