Madeleine Albright Just Issued A Dire Trump/Bannon Warning Everyone Should See

Former secretary of state Madeleine Albright believes White House chief strategist and former Breitbart News editor Steve Bannon is “pulling the strings” in President Trump’s administration.

In an interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria GPS, Albright condemned Trump’s placement of Bannon on the National Security Council’s principals committee, saying:

‘I think that it is a very unfortunate image, because clearly, Mr. Bannon is more than a strategic adviser. I think he’s the person that’s pulling the strings.’

In an executive order signed January 28th, President Trump restructured the National Security Council to include Steve Bannon, while simultaneously demoting the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff and the director of national intelligence, POLITICO reports.

Albright, who served as secretary of state in former President Bill Clinton’s administration thinks “that the influence generally of Mr. Bannon is passing strange, if I may say so, given his background and his approach to national security policy, his admiration for [Vladimir] Lenin, a number of things that trouble me a great deal about having him be in these all-important national security meetings,” she asserted in the interview Sunday.

The former head of the State Department has spoken out against Trump’s immigration ban numerous times via Twitter, and while speaking to CNN Sunday she reiterated previous claims, saying:

‘This is not America, where we ban people by religion.’

Here are just a few of her recent tweets speaking out against the Trump administration:

‘I was raised Catholic, became Episcopalian & found out later my family was Jewish. I stand ready to register as Muslim in #solidarity.’

‘There is no fine print on the Statue of Liberty. America must remain open to people of all faiths & backgrounds. #RefugeesWelcome

‘Chaos is not a governing tool. Trump’s Muslim ban puts America’s security at risk. #NoBanNoWall’

Bannon ran the controversial alt-right “news” site Breitbart until last August when he was appointed chief executive of  the Trump campaign. Trump’s decision to include Bannon on the National Security Council appears to be entirely politically motivated.
