Well, well, well, if it isn’t the old “I don’t give a damn about this presidenting thing after all” switcheroo!
See, while Americans serving in the Armed Forces overseas still grapple with the after-effects of the utter failure of a raid that Trump ordered in Yemen, and while Americans at home and people the world over grapple with the implications of North Korea having test fired a ballistic missile just yesterday, Trump is tweeting about Mark Cuban.
Those aforementioned two issues, among others, are some of the things that a normal president would be concerned about. It’s his job to lead the American arm of the effort to keep things from getting out of hand with regard to, for example, North Korea.
But not Trump! He has better things to do then concern himself with national and global security. Billionaire Mark Cuban doesn’t like him, so that deserves a tweet!
Seriously though, Trump wrote the following on Twitter early Sunday morning, “I know Mark Cuban well. He backed me big-time but I wasn’t interested in taking all of his calls. He’s not smart enough to run for president!”

Literally what has any of this got to do with anything?
Is there a smartness requirement to run for president? Do you set the standard, Donald? Is Mark planning to run for president any time soon?
It’s not immediately clear what is the acute prompt behind Trump’s tweet. If the past is any indication, then our media critic-in-chief just saw a clip of Cuban criticizing him played on one of the major cable news networks.
Additionally, for Trump to suggest that Cuban “backed him big time” is a joke. Cuban thinks Trump is an idiot.
