JUST IN: W.H. Blocks Multiple Major News Networks From Press Briefing (TWEETS)

In an unprecedented move, the White House has blocked some of America’s most reliable news sources from a media briefing to be carried out Friday afternoon. The outlets prohibited from attending include: CNN, POLITICO, NY Times, and The L.A. Times, with Associated Press and TIME boycotting the event all together.

Media outlets allowed to enter include One American News Network, Washington Times, and Breitbart News.

Trump is trying to build a king’s empire, and the first step in doing that is to cut out all the naysayers, in this case, the American media. Without companies like NY Times and CNN being able to report on the briefings, Americans will be left to find their news in less credible sources, like Breitbart. Trump is counting on that.

According to Raw Story:

“CNN, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Politico, BuzzFeed and most of the attending foreign press were blocked from participating, and the Associate Press and Time boycotted the gaggle. NBC, ABC and FOX, alongside conservative outlets like Breitbart and the Washington Times were permitted to attend.”

Reuters White House correspondant, Jeff Mason released the following message in protest of the exclusion.
