Tomi Lahren Suspended By ‘The Blaze’, The Ironic Reason Is Delicious

Tomi Lahren has made a career for herself out of bashing “liberal snowflakes” and “sensitive crybabies” on her weekly online show featured on The Blaze TV.

Just a few of the topics that Lahren has so far decided that liberals are too sensitive about are: the disproportionate number of people of color killed in police interactions, anything and everything related to feminism, and the election of a racist, misogynistic, and xenophobic president. Her main criticism of the progressive left is that they are intolerant of other people’s views and that they don’t respect conservatives’ rights to free speech.

Now the online political commentator has been suspended from her show, and the reason why may be history’s most perfect example of the word “irony.”

Lahren recently appeared to give her negative and always controversial opinion on The View, where she discussed the news topics of the day with a panel of both liberal and conservative women. When the endlessly debated topic of abortion was presented, the extremely conservative Tomi Lahren offered a surprise:

‘I’m pro-choice and here’s why. I am a constitutional…you know, someone who loves the Constitution. I am someone that’s for limited government, and so I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say “I’m for limited government, but I think that the government should decide what women do with their bodies.’

Right on, Tomi.

However, Tomi Lahren learned today that all the easily offended, intolerant crybabies may just work at the same company that airs her show online, The Blaze. Lahren was suspended shortly after that appearance on The View, and it might just be because Lahren happens to have an opinion that differs from her employers’.

According to the The Daily Caller, Lahren is suspended effective Monday for a period of one week. It has not been confirmed that the suspension was a result of Lahren expressing her own personal views in a public forum, but outraged response by others at The Blaze was immediate and fierce.

One reporter from The Blaze tweeted what could possibly be the worst insult possible from a member of the ultra far Right: Lahren is even worse than Hillary Clinton.

Glenn Beck, one of The Blaze‘s most well-known personalities, was “offended” and had a “tantrum” on his radio show.

‘I would disagree that you’re a hypocrite if you want limited government and yet you want the government to protect life of the unborn. It’s very, very clear.’

Lahren responded to the backlash by tweeting, “I speak my truth. If you don’t like it, tough. I will always be honest and stand in my truth,” to which another reporter from “The Blaze” then tweeted “There is no ‘my truth.’ There is only the truth.”

Will there be any rants about free speech or liberal intolerance once she’s back?
