Like father like son, Donald Trump, Jr. used the terrorist attack on London to criticize its mayor. Apparently, Jr. is apprenticing the president by sending outrageous tweets in the darkest hours of the night. He dive-bombed an old comment made by London Mayor Sadiq Khan.
The mayor said that terror attacks are part of living in a big city six months ago, and that seemed to get Jr.’s back up. He tweeted:
‘You have to be kidding me?!: Terror attacks are part of living in big city, says London Mayor Sadiq Khan.’

The younger Trump included a link to an Independent newspaper article written on September 22 with Khan’s quote. What Jr. missed was the mayor asking people to be vigilant after a New York City bombing. In fact, the British publication The Guardian questioned whether Trump’s kid even read the original article or realized how old it is.
So far, five people died in London after a lone terrorist attack Wednesday. These included a police officer and the terrorist, who injured 29 others. Jr. could not have picked a worse time for his tweet blitz.
A member of Parliament and former president of the National Union of Students Wes Streeting commented in The Guardian:
‘You use a terrorist attack on our city to attack London’s Mayor for your own political gain. You’re a disgrace.’
According to The Guardian, a correspondent with Channel 4 News Claran Jenkins tweeted:
‘Is this helpful @DonaldJTrumpJr? Did you even read the article before goading London’s Mayor during a live incident? Headline is based on very first sentence, which if you’d bothered to read it could apply to any major city in the world.’
Then, another Londoner tried to educated Trump younger in a tweet, The Guardian reported. It said:
‘Londoners will never be cowed by terrorism.’
You use a terrorist attack on our city to attack London's Mayor for your own political gain. You're a disgrace.

Americans are embarrasssed by the Trump heir’s stupid remark, and Amy Siskind apologized for him in this tweet:

European tweeter James Savage summed up Jr’s ridiculous attempt to distance America from our closest ally in this tweet:
Quite terrifying that a snivelling little runt like Donald Trump Jr has such access to power: https://t.co/TKpJ6SNUmn

Streeting called Trump’s kid “a disgrace” for using the tragic terrorist attack for “political gain.” This embarrassing apple has not fallen far from the crooked tree.
