The perception of the Bush brothers, George W. and Jeb, has long been that George is the bumbler and Jeb is the brighter of the two. Still, it was George whom Americans once saw fit to elect to be President of the United States. While that was likely one of many early signs that the GOP and its voters don’t know which way is up, the Trump administration has George W. Bush looking like candidate for best President ever.
In that same vein of George not being the most astute between the siblings, George has failed to show the courage to firmly speak against the dishonest, corrupt, and divisive politics of Donald Trump. Jeb on the other hand, isn’t holding back:

When asked what he thinks of Trump’s time in office thus far, Jeb Bush argued:
‘He’s a distraction in and of himself. He should stop saying things that aren’t true, that are distractions from the task at hand. Hes got a lot of work to do and some of these things, the wiretapping, all this stuff is a complete distraction that makes it harder to accomplish the things I know he wants to do.’
However, with regard to the things Trump wants to do, it often seems like Trump wants to do just what he has been doing – distracting, blaming, deflecting and lying. And while Jeb Bush held Trump far more accountable than his brother, George W. did, he still sounded like he was singing his praises on some things that many Americans don’t have good feelings about, like the economy.
During the interview, Jeb Bush was also asked if he’d run for President again. While he didn’t completely rule it out, he did say that he enjoys the life that he is living and the time he gets to spend with his family.
