Trump Gets Weird & Announces Detailed Clinton Conspiracy During AM Tweet Blast

Journalists speculating and making connections which show President Trump in a negative light will get one in trouble in Trumpland. He certainly makes it his mission to disparage outlets who air such coverage as “fake news,” but downright conspiracy put out by Fox — at par with ‘I was abducted by aliens’ allegations — is embraced by the president whole-heartedly.

In a storm of tweets he sent out early Monday morning, Trump is seen re-iterating allegations that have been floating around that John Podesta’s brother, Tony Podesta, was retained by Russia’s largest bank (Sberbank) to lobby against Russian sanctions in the United States. The lobbying company, The Podesta Group, was allegedly paid $170,000 over the course of six months for this advocacy. Donald Trump wants Twitter users however, to vilify Hillary for it:

‘Was the brother of John Podesta [Tony Podesta] paid big money to get the sanctions on Russia lifted? Did Hillary know?’

Also noteworthy is the fact that regardless of whether or not The Podesta Group was retained to lobby against Obama-imposed Russian sanctions, they were not successful in this undertaking – the sanctions remained. Donald Trump’s team however, acknowledged an interest in removing the sanctions publically, and they have already weakened them.

Members of his campaign team notified Russian officials of the sanctions as private citizens – anyone remember Michael Flynn, or the world of trouble he is presently in? They further, allegedly conducted a “peace meeting” with Russian officials whereby they may have consented to lift the sanctions, and permitted the atrocities Russia has undertaken in the Crimea. That’s not even mentioning the fact that Donald Trump’s campaign team is under federal intelligence investigation to determine if they colluded with Russia to win the presidential election. We’re fairly sure no counter-allegations against Hillary could in any way compare.

He further vilified Hillary Monday morning by drawing attention back to the fact that her campaign team was accused of obtaining a list of topics which a the debate questions would touch on.

‘Did Hillary Clinton ever apologize for receiving the answers to the debate? Just asking!’

At the time the accusations came out, Trump asserted:

‘Can you imagine – seriously can you imagine if I received the questions? It would be the electric chair, ok?’

Except problematically, Donald Trump would never need to obtain a list of questions, because he clearly could spew literal garbage out of his mouth and his supporters lapped it up. His entire platform was vague and over-arching opinions rather than any practical, implementable plans. As he said himself, he could shoot someone in the street and not lose any votes over it.

Indeed, facts have never stopped Donald Trump, nor any members of his administration from touting “alternative facts” before, as long as it aligns with their agenda, so we can’t pretend this is particularly surprising conduct from them.

Let’s not allow these tweets to serve as another distraction tactic. It has often been the case that shortly following what appears to be random outlandish allegations against the Dems — including often Barack Obama and/or Hillary Clinton — something big comes out about him and his team regarding Russia.
