The Anne Frank Center of the United States has just issued a furious statement after White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer literally defended Adolf Hitler at a Tuesday press briefing, claiming that he never gassed “his own people” in the same way that Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad has.
Spicer, defending the Trump Administration’s decision to strike a Syrian Army air base in “retaliation” for a chemical weapons attack against the Syrian people, said: “You had someone as despicable as Hitler, who didn’t even sink to using chemical weapons.”
The Anne Frank Center has taken the collective outrage with Spicer to a new and yet fitting extreme, calling for President Trump to fire the former RNC official.
The Anne Frank Center’s statement on the matter reads:
‘On Passover no less, Sean Spicer has engaged in Holocaust denial, the most offensive form of fake news imaginable, by denying Hitler gassed millions of Jews to death… Sean Spicer now lacks the integrity to serve as White House press secretary, and President Trump must fire him at once.’

Although Trump isn’t likely to heed the calls of the Anne Frank Center and actually fire Spicer, should the calls for Spicer’s ousting build up, it is possible that he could soon find himself jobless. Such movements have been successful in the past in terms of getting fools out of roles in which they shouldn’t be in.
Ironically, Spicer himself has lambasted the Anne Frank Center in the past, asking why nothing is ever “good enough” for them after they spoke out against President Trump’s disregard of a series of anti-Semitic incidents around the country.
