State Dept. Makes Disturbing Confirmation About Voter Machines In Trump States

The results of a Freedom of Information Act inquiry by the National Association of Voting Officials has confirmed that voting machines in 5 swing states that went to Trump in the 2016 election were experiencing a variety of issues or malfunctions, casting further doubt on the results of the historic upset.

Occupy Democrats reports that a letter from the State Department to NAVO secretary Brett Turner has confirmed some chilling details about the machines that tallied the votes for millions of Americans and gave us Donald Trump as president.

‘We have located 90 entries in the Voting Section’s Intake System that discuss or mention concerns about voting machine malfunctions in Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin during the November 8, 2016 election.’

But the letter goes on to further detail that the results discovered by the State Department might only be the tip of the proverbial iceberg. Other voting issues in the election were prevalent enough that the 90 entries mentioning malfunctions composed less than a fifth of the total pertinent documents the State Department was able to dig up.

‘In addition to the 90 pages regarding voting machine malfunctions, there are at least 527 responsive documents remaining in the system that relate to other types of voting issues reported in the specified states during the November 8, 2016 election that will need to be retrieved and copied.’

Although the documents have yet to be sent to Mr. Turner, they will hopefully elucidate one of the strangest chapters in American history. Donald Trump lost the popular vote by nearly 3 million votes, but still managed an overwhelming victory in the electoral college through extremely narrow margins in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Because all three of those states appear in the list of the ones experiencing voting machine irregularities, it’s quite conceivable that they could raise further suspicions or even provide evidence for the ongoing investigation of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian agents during the 2016 election.

Although little information has been revealed as of now, the country has certainly inched one step closer to understanding the bizarre circumstances that elected one of the most controversial personalities in American political history.
