The president took to Twitter this morning, as he does so many mornings.
Among other things, Trump had a message this Monday morning about Democrats. More specifically, he had a message about some Democratic Party-related reading material.
He wrote: “A great book for your reading enjoyment: “REASONS TO VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS” by Michael J. Knowles.”

Now, if you’re not aware, the book “Reasons to Vote for Democrats” by Michael J. Knowles is a completely blank book.
Remarkably, that book was at one point an Amazon bestseller, notwithstanding that it consists of 266 empty pages.
Knowles told Fox News of his work:
‘It took a very long time to research this book. When I observed their record and reasons to vote for them — on reasons of economics or foreign policy or homeland security or civil rights and so on — I realized it was probably best to just leave all the pages blank.’
Ironically, CNN notes that this isn’t the first blank book to come out in recent months. David King’s completely blank “Why Trump Deserves Trust, Respect & Admiration” came out in November.
Still, for the President of the United States to join in on this petty internet trolling is ridiculous. Weeks before Trump’s tweet, CNN described Knowles’s book as a “clear attempt to troll Democrats.” (Duh.)
Now, however, the President of the United States — the guy who is supposed to be concerning himself with things that aren’t internet trolling — has again taken to internet trolling.
