On Sunday, President Donald Trump took to Twitter with an Easter message that will blow your mind.
You would think his message would be directed towards family or love, or even a phony religious statement from the man who claims to be a Christian, but instead, the president bragged in a tweet about the yuge military buildup that is expected to be funded with money from cut programs such as the arts, social services, and practically anything that doesn’t have to do with war.
President Trump’s Easter message read:
‘Our military is building and is rapidly becoming stronger than ever before. Frankly, we have no choice!’

The current military spending that Trump arranged is more than that of the seven next biggest nations combined. Many patriotic Americans know about his excessive military budget and say the Trump does have a choice, he’s just not making the right one.
When the people at VoteVets.org, who represent the largest and fastest growing group of veterans, families in the military, and civilians, saw the ridiculous post that Trump made to Twitter, they just couldn’t hold back. They replied to the president’s post in the most perfect way with a series of tweets:
‘We were strong before you showed up. You have hurt our moral authority abroad and weakened our ability to defeat our enemies.’

VoteVets then posted the definition of chicken hawk with a tweet that read:
‘For once in your life, @realDonaldTrump, do the patriotic thing. Do what’s best for our troops and not just good for the Trump Organization.’
Trump’s tweet follows his announcement about the military budget in late February when he said:
‘This budget will be a public safety and national security budget. It will include a historic increase in defense spending to rebuild the depleted military of the United States of America at a time we most need it.’
There couldn’t have been a better response Trump’s nonsense and this was the perfect group to call out Trump out over his chicken-ish ways.
