Attendees At Trump’s Rally Just Made a Huge Russia/Trump Statement (TWEET)

If anyone thought that President Donald Trump lacked the mental capacity to feel an emotion like shock, they are about to be proven wrong.

Instead of attending the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner (WHCA) in Washington, D.C. on Saturday evening, Donald Trump made an appearance in Pennsylvania. Looking beyond the fact that he very clearly should’ve been at the WCHA dinner, the fact that he is still holding these post-inauguration rallies is absolutely absurd in its own right.

It has been noted that such an endeavor is unprecedented and these forms of rallies are frankly right out of the playbook of some of history’s most notoriously despicable leaders, like Hitler, for example. On Saturday however, at this Pennsylvania rally, Donald Trump got a little taste of the resistance.

On the 100th day of his presidency, the video footage covering Trump is interrupted – albeit briefly – by the presence of what appears to be dozens of miniature Russian flags, which were presumably thrown into the view of the camera intentionally.

This move comes following profound developments and outrage over suspected ties between Trump and Russia. The investigation into Trump and his campaign team colluding with Russian officials to win the 2016 presidential election is still in progress, and according to a new poll by the Hill, almost 40% of respondents believe Trump, or someone associated with him, is guilty of collusion.

Check out the footage below, courtesy of Steve Kopack:

‘As Trump speaks, it appears someone briefly threw a bunch of Russian flags up in the air in front of the poll camera.’

In case you missed it, here’s a screengrab of the flags falling gracefully in front of and around Donald Trump:

The fact that they fall to the backdrop of his unimaginative and spent slogan, “Make America Great Again” truly perfects the moment, adding insult to injury. We can’t wait until Donald Trump gets wind of this, we can only imagine the Twitter rampage he’s about to churn out for us. Buckle up and grab your popcorn, folks!
