President Trump has, rightfully, received a significant amount of criticism after he insulted CBS’s John Dickerson repeatedly during a recent interview.

First, he referred to Dickerson’s show, Face the Nation, as “Deface the Nation.” He then got so overwhelmed when Dickerson asked him about his wiretapping accusations that he had to end the interview while motioning for the journalist to show himself out of the Oval Office.

Dickerson handled the President’s lack of decorum like the professional he is; however, one of his fellow CBS personalities, Stephen Colbert, had a very different response.

On Monday night’s rendition of The Late Show, during his opening monologue, Colbert ripped into President Trump for insulting Dickerson.

Colbert first praised Dickerson for being a “fair-minded journalist and one of the most competent people who will ever walk into [Trump’s] office.”

He then went on to say that, while Dickerson might have “too much dignity to trade insults” with Trump, he does not.

‘But I, sir, am no John Dickerson.’

‘When you insult one member of the CBS family, you insult us all!’

After that warning, Colbert wasted no time launching into a hilarious and creative roast of the country’s 45th president.

First, he turned Trump’s nickname for Face the Nation around by referring to his presidency as “Disgrace the Nation.”

‘Mr. President, I love your presidency, I call it “Disgrace The Nation.”‘

Some of the funniest insults that followed this remark are listed below:

‘You’re not the POTUS, you’re the BLOTUS.’

‘You’re a regular “Gorge” Washington.’

‘You’re the presi-dunce. But you’re turning into a real prictator.’

‘Sir, you have more people marching against you than cancer.’

‘You talk like a sign language gorilla who got hit in the head.’

‘The only thing smaller than your hands is your tax returns.’

Perhaps the best insult, though, came towards the end of the monologue, when Colbert told President Trump:

‘Sir, the only the only thing your mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin’s cock holster.’

After all that, it seems safe to say a tantrum about Colbert being “over-rated” or “un-funny” is already in the works.
