White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has been away from his podium the past few days, and what a week to be away.
On Tuesday, after President Trump fired former FBI Director James Comey, Deputy Press Secretary Sara Huckabee Sanders stood in for Spicer and addressed a very confused room of reporters.
According to the Associated Press, Spicer is away on Navy Reserve Duty for monthly service. But it seems the American people miss Spicer a lot more than they thought they would, and President Trump is aware of this.
In fact, he took to Twitter to address the job his surrogates are doing:
‘As a very active President with lots of things happening, it is not possible for surrogates to stand at podium with perfect accuracy!….’

Of course not — that would just be way too much to ask. Just like we can’t ask Trump to be a legitimate president.
Then, like a child, he went on to threaten to cancel all future press briefings:
‘…Maybe the best thing to do would be to cancel all future “press briefings” and hand out written responses for the sake of accuracy???’

Or, you know, get your sh*t together and actually tell the truth?
Crazy thought, right?
