Donald Trump has no idea what he’s doing as President of the United States. That’s not conjecture; that’s a simple observation.
While speaking to a room full of Israeli officials this Monday, he told them that he and his entourage had just gotten back from the Middle East, where they had been treated incredibly “fairly.”
There is, however, one major problem with that, if you haven’t caught onto it already.
Israel is in the Middle East. While sitting in a room with Israelis, in Israel, which is in the Middle East, President Trump just said that he just got back from the Middle East.
Even if you have to listen to the tape a couple of times to really catch onto what he’s saying, it’s unmistakable once you get the volume up high enough to compensate for the low quality audio of the original recording.
He said: “As you know, Rex, our Secretary of State, has done an incredible job. We just got back from the Middle East; we just got back from Saudi Arabia, and we were treated incredibly well.”
Again, it’s literally fake news for Trump to say that he had just gotten back from the Middle East. He was literally sitting in the Middle East when he made that statement.
No matter how many different ways you look at it, it doesn’t get any less ridiculous.
According to Israel-based journalist Gregg Carlstrom, Trump made these comments before meeting with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin.

Undoubtedly, the Israeli leaders present — well, pretty much everyone present — had to stifle a reaction when President Trump said that he’d “just gotten back from the Middle East.”
There have, notably, already been reports come out that the president is fatigued after just a short time overseas.
CNN’s Jim Acosta noted that he’d been told as much by a White House official recently on Twitter.
At a briefing with reporters a WH official said POTUS is "exhausted." https://t.co/0ll7Y4U1nt

Acosta’s revelation came after he sought an explanation for why the president had deviated from the scripted version of remarks that he gave on the subject of counterterrorism while in Saudi Arabia.
These gaffes come after Trump admitted that the presidency isn’t what he expected earlier this year.
