150 Cities Across The Country Just Stood Up Against President Trump (IMAGES)

Across the nation, people are marching in the streets in a very visual demand for an independent investigation into Russia manipulating the 2016 presidential election. The March for Truth reached 150 cities from coast to coast. Saturday’s march at the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C. had demands.

Protesters in New York City called for the independent commission to track down the truth about the Donald Trump’s collusion with Russia to swing the vote in his favor. They also want the president to make his tax returns public, so that the people can see whether he is financially tied to Moscow, according to March for truth‘s website.

March For Truth’s press release described the marches as:

‘Restoring Faith in American Government. Demonstrations to call for urgent investigations into Russian interference in the US election and ties to Donald Trump, his administration, and his associates.’

Trump admitted he fired FBI Director James Comey to put a stop to the expanding Russia investigation. The FBI, four congressional committees, and one independent investigator have been looking into the Trump administration’s ties to the Kremlin. The march’s organizers see Trump as Putin’s puppet.

‘Donald Trump believes in a sad, small-minded America… That is exactly what Vladimer  [sic] Putin wants.’

The peaceful rallies have four simple demands:

  1. “An independent commission must be established and Congressional investigations should be properly resourced and pursued free of partisan interests;
  2. As much information should be made available to the public as possible, and as soon as possible;
  3. Congress should require Donald Trump to release his tax returns to clarify his business interests and obligations to any foreign entity;
  4. If crimes were committed or if collusion is discovered, it must be prosecuted.”

‘The #MarchForTruth is tomorrow!’

The March for Truth rallies have not asked for much, just the truth.
