Sarah Palin just responded to the NY Times editorial in which they said Republicans like Palin were the reason behind the shooting of Gabby Giffords. Giffords was shot in the head during a 2011 assassination attempt.
It was believed that a map Palin had drawn up caused enraged Republicans to take matters into their own hands, by targeting the areas highlighted. However, it was found that the shooter had actually been infatuated with Giffords for many years, and that claim was laid to rest.
Or so we thought.
NY Times is now under fire for their release of a Wednesday story that said there was direct relation between the two events, and have since decided to retract the story.
That didn’t stop Palin from posting on her Facebook page like a raving lunatic:
Palin, who probably wets herself every time she’s made relevant again in the media, wasted no time in saying the following:
“With this sickening NYT’s editorial, the media is doing exactly what I said yesterday should not be done. Despite commenting as graciously as I could on media coverage of yesterday’s shooting, alas, today a perversely biased media’s knee-jerk blame game is attempting to destroy innocent people with lies and more fake news. As I said yesterday, I’d hoped the media had collectively matured since the last attack on a Representative when media coverage spewed blatant lies about who was to blame. There’s been no improvement. The NYT has gotten worse. – SP”
The caption represented a news story from Breitbart, of all places, in which Palin was made out to be a victim; a role she throws herself into every time.
All we can do is be thankful that Sarah Palin is no longer a problem.
