‘Morning Joe’ Announces Trump Blackmail Attempt – Donald Instantly Freaks

The feud between the co-hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe continued on Friday morning with a revelation by host Joe Scarborough and a response tweet by the president. For a man who swears he doesn’t watch Morning Joe anymore, he certainly seems to know in real time every word they say about him.

Scarborough described an incident in which the president’s staffers called him to report that a negative story would be released about him by The National Enquirer, but they offered a plan for Scarborough to prevent that story from being published.

‘We got a call that, hey, the National Enquirer is going to run a negative story against you guys, and Donald is friends, the president is friends with the guy that runs the National Enquirer, and they said, “If you call the president up and you apologize for your coverage, then he will pick up the phone and basically spike this story.”‘

For those unaware of the definition of the term “blackmail,” this would be an excellent example of exactly that. Trump, of course, had his own version of the story.

The hosts of Morning Joe were responding also to a vicious Twitter attack by the president against Mika Brzezinski on Thursday, to which Joe stated that “we’re okay, but the country isn’t.” With a president in charge who is willing to blackmail journalists for good coverage, it’s hard not to agree with that statement.

Twitter users let the president know exactly how much they’re willing to believe any statement he makes, which equals up to not at all.
