Trump Stops Golf, Gets On Twitter, & Erupts Into Rage Tweet Explosion Against CNN

In something that you’d do well to remember is definitely not normal, President Trump took to Twitter early Saturday evening to shout about “fake news” again.

His latest raging comes a short while after CNN, his main target, drew a great deal of criticism for two missteps, one major and one significant but not so major, in their recent reporting. The first misstep was the publication of a story that alleged that Congress was investigating Trump associates for possible ties to a Russian investment fund, while the second, more recent incident was the airing of an image of a fake National Enquirer cover on television.

Trump wrote on Twitter:

‘I am thinking about changing the name #FakeNews CNN to #FraudNewsCNN!’

In addition, Trump ranted on Saturday night more generally about the so-called “fake news,” saying that they’re wrong to suggest that he should stop his obsessive, incendiary tweeting. The incident that the latest wave of such sentiment is borne from is the president’s targeting of Morning Joe co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.

On this subject, Trump wrote:

‘The FAKE & FRAUDULENT NEWS MEDIA is working hard to convince Republicans and others I should not use social media – but remember, I won the 2016 election with interviews, speeches and social media. I had to beat #FakeNews, and did. We will continue to WIN! My use of social media is not Presidential – it’s MODERN DAY PRESIDENTIAL. Make America Great Again!’

Twitter (as always) thought that Trump was entirely in the wrong in suggesting that it’s “presidential” to do as he does.
