Things aren’t looking good for Paul Manafort, and it’s looking more and more like the Trump teamsters may go down in flames.

The subpoena came after Manafort had tried to delay a public hearing before the committee. Ranking Democrat Sen. Dianne Feinstein explained why they issued the subpoena:
‘Mr. Manafort, through his attorney, said that he would be willing to provide only a single transcribed interview to Congress, which would not be available to the Judiciary Committee members or staff. While the Judiciary Committee was willing to cooperate on equal terms with any other committee to accommodate Mr. Manafort’s request, ultimately that was not possible’
He is expected to appear before the committee Wednesday.
Manafort is under investigation for his connections with a Pro-Russia Ukrainian political party, money laundering, and possibly colluding with Russia to aid President Trump in winning the 2016 election.
