Transgender Purple Heart Navy SEAL Veteran Just Gave Trump A Brutal Bashing

President Donald Trump — a man who claims to be exceedingly patriotic, despite being a draft dodger and ultimately driving this country into the ground — has now officially pissed off at least one of America’s heroes.

On Twitter, Trump announced that the United States military would no longer be permitting transgender individuals to enlist. Nothing has been said yet about the status of active service members who are transgender. According to estimates calculated by the RAND corporation last year, there are a minimum of 1,320 transgender people serving in the American military presently, and there may be as many as 6,630, so this announcement is incredibly significant in terms of both human rights and military resources.

Trump has received a tremendous amount of backlash from within the political realm for this abrupt, shocking and demoralizing announcement — but better than that, American military members are now taking him to task.

Kristin Beck is a retired Navy SEAL who spent 20 years in active duty service to the United States and worked on Navy SEAL Teams 1, 5 and the elite 6. She is the recipient of the Bronze Star award for valor and the Purple Heart for wounds in combat following 13 tours overseas in Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan. It is due to this remarkable experience and success within the American military that makes Beck the perfect spokesperson to fight back against Trump’s oppressive and ignorant new regulation(s). Beck achieved all of these successes in the military as a transgender individual; Kristin was born Christopher.

If Trump’s new rule is to come to pass, service members with spectacular skill like Kristin would be barred from joining the U.S. military. America would be missing out.

Regarding Trump’s announcement, she blasted:

‘Being transgender doesn’t affect anyone else. We are liberty’s light. If you can’t defend that for everyone that’s an American citizen, that’s not right. I was defending individual liberty. I defended for Republicans. I defended for Democrats. I defended for everyone.’

President Trump also tried to make the absurd excuse that the decision was made in an effort to conserve military funding. Specifically, he tried to claim that transgender service members have different medical costs. But Beck wasn’t letting that slide:

‘The money is negligible. You’re talking about .000001% of the military budget. They care more about the airplane or the tank than they care about people. They don’t care about people. They don’t care about human beings.’

She also shot down various other excuses that have been put forward to support the motion including unit cohesion, by saying:

‘A very professional unit with great leadership wouldn’t have a problem. I can have a Muslim serving right beside Jerry Falwell, and we’re not going to have a problem. It’s a leadership issue, not a transgender issue.’

The very fact that Ms. Beck had to step up and inform the president of this — as if he isn’t aware of reality — is beyond disturbing. As for Beck, she isn’t letting this idiotic leader change her passionate patriotism to cynicism, and isn’t going to let him get away with doing it to new prospective service members either.

To that point, she threw some serious shade at Trump while egging him on to come speak to her in person:

‘Let’s meet face to face and you tell me I’m not worthy… [Being t]ransgender doesn’t matter. Do your service.’

Damn! You tell him!
