Thursday was a bad day for President Trump. In addition to learning that special counsel Robert Mueller has enlisted a grand jury to join in on the investigation into his ties to Russia, Trump has also been facing serious backlash from residents of New Hampshire after The Washington Post published a transcript of him calling the state a “drug-infested den.”
With all the criticism he’s received today, it makes sense that the president needs an ego boost. Luckily, he’s got a rally planned in Huntington, West Virginia to help take his mind off of things.
Trump posted a tweet on Thursday evening promoting the rally and bragging about the “massive crowd” that was expected to turn out.
Just arrived in West Virginia for a MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN rally in Huntington at 7:00pmE. Massive crowd expected – tune in! #MAGA??

Shortly after Trump posted this tweet, a number of commenters suggested that he has bigger things to worry about. In addition to the grand jury, people also reminded him of the Senate’s failure to repeal the Affordable Care Act (something he said he’d do within his first 100 days as president) and his dismal approval ratings.
