The recently released Wonder Woman movie is officially the highest-grossing movie of the summer, and is soon to become one of the 19 movies to ever earn $400 million at the domestic box office in the U.S/Canada. DC’s Wonder Women had widely been regarded as a feminist movie, as it is one of the few that depicts a strong, bad a** woman.
Being the feminist that she is, it is no surprise that Hillary Clinton jumped on the bandwagon and went to see the movie, alongside her husband.
On Saturday a Brooklyn theater hosted the Clinton’s for a special private screening of the movie. The theater, Alamo Drafthouse, is the same theater chain that faced adverse reactions for offering special screenings of the movie when it first opened, for females only.
The theater shared a photo of the Clintons, captioned “Honored to have hosted [Hillary Clinton] & [Bill Clinton] last night for a special screening of WONDER WOMAN!”

A spokesman for the Alamo Drafthouse, Mike Sampson, told The Huffington Post, that the plans for the screening started forming after Clinton said that she had yet to see Wonder Women. The theater tweeted that they would be happy to plan a screening for her. Sampson said:
‘We were happy to set up a private screening, for which they organized the guest list. We were obviously thrilled to have them as guests at our theater and they have an open invitation to return any time in the future.’
